Our Company

- HERPETON Exotic Pets was started by Ryan South in 1991.
- He recognized a desperate
need for quality exotic care, support and affordable pets and supplies.
- We opened the doors on Burleson
Road in a 250 square foot facility.
- After a few years of good luck and terrific customer loyalty we expanded
with a North Austin location on Burnet Road close to Hwy 183.
- We then moved our small South location
to a much roomier East Oltorf location.
- In 1996 HERPETON Exotic Pets expanded further to the West next to Target
on Ben White and South Lamar.
- We are proud to announce our newest location, we are moving the north store 2
short blocks north of 183 on Burnet Rd.
